N. Vivekananthamoorthy completed his PhD degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Hindustan University, Chennai, India, in November, 2017. He has been teaching computer science subjects to undergraduate and post graduate students since the last 14 years. He had worked as Assistant Professor(SG), Information Technology at SRM University Kattankulathur, Chennai, India from 2013 to Jan 2017. Earlier he worked (1974-1999) at the Computer Division of Ms. Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL), a High-Pressure Boiler Plant at Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, India. At BHEL, he had been responsible for the Implementation of IT-based systems and Integration and Migration of legacy systems to ORACLE DBMS in the year 1999. His area of interest includes AI, Six Sigma, Social Network Analysis and E-Learning Portals and he has presented and published many papers in International conferences and Journals. He had authored a book chapter Lean Six Sigma which was published by Ms Intech Publishers. He is a member of IEEE, ACM and Life Member of Computer Society of India.
